A precious Moment

Yesterday, Kenan came up to me and started telling me about his day at school. He's been learning the story of Easter what Jesus did for us on the cross. A little bit later he came back and said "mommy, I prayed to Jesus today." me: "You did? What did you pray about?" K: "I said, Dear Jesus help me to be good and kind. Help me to follow you. Help me to be yours. Amen" me as I'm hugging him: "awwwww, Kenan!" K: "don't worry mommy, I'm still yours too." He went on to tell me that he prayed by himself at preschool while he was playing with Indiana Jones legos. He proudly told me that he played and prayed at the same time! Thank you God, for hold Kenan, and each of my kids in the palm of your hand. I know you'll never let go!
