It's been a good weekend

I sit here thinking about what my first post of 2010 should be.  What do I want to write about?  Should I write about my goals for 2010?  Should I write about the kids?  I'm sitting here watching The Soloist on HBO (good movie by the way) and just thinking

All in all it's been a good day weekend.  H and I braved the cold yesterday and bought new towels and rugs for our master bathroom, and we went grocery shopping.   Today we went to church and came home.  I helped T build a motorcycle out of his erector set, then gave all three boys hair cuts.  I guess it's been a busy weekend as well.  In spite of  all the busyness it's been quite relaxing as well.

The kids are home on Winter vacation for one more week.  We don't have a lot planned.  Tomorrow I am hoping to just chill with the kids play some games, watch a movie.  Hannah holed her self up in her room today (she's needed the down time) so I hope to spend a little one on one time with her, as well as K who has challenged me to game of Candyland.

So far 2010 has been wonderful.  I know there will be trials and challenges but I pray that through them I grow more into the person God has created me to be.  God is good all the time!
