Wow! It certainly has been quite awhile since my last post. We have been busy with a kitchen remodel that is beginning to wrap up in the next couple weeks. I have post about that in the works. I am getting antsy to have it finished. The cabinets are mostly in and we have the new doors installed. The floors will be finished this weekend and soon the tile backsplash and cabinet hardware will be installed. I'm going to borrow my sister's sewing machine and make curtains and valances. I think I will even make covers for the throw pillows on the couch.
I have been trying to limit my time on the computer for the most part. The computer is such a time waster for me (as I sit here and type) and there many other things I could be doing, and I need to savor my moments with my sweet three year old, M. Yesterday I was playing the cherry game ( hi-ho cheerio) and he looked up at me and asked, "why did God make fingers?" It was such a great question because it was one of his very first "deep" questions. I loved it! He then asked how old K was and how old I was and if papa was hiding. M's questions usually are what is that? why is that? and where is ...? Boy does he talk! He just has sentences streaming from his mouth constantly.
Back to computer limiting. I just feel that the Lord is impressing on my heart more and more lately to follow him more by putting him first. What do I put in front of him? Computer time is definitely one of those things. At the women's retreat I went to recently, the speaker said, "Go to the Book, before I go on Facebook." It was a great challenge to me to spend time in God's word before I go to Facebook or my blogs that I read, or before I balance the checkbook. Let me tell you it's very hard. Monday I didn't do so well and today I didn't either. I love that tomorrow is a new day and I can start fresh again.
As Anne of Green Gables says, "Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it."
Goodnight.

What a sweet and fantastic question! I love when Ariana and Harper question things, but I've never heard such a 'deep' one from either.
I try to start and end each day with my Bible- I keep it on my pillow during the day and on top of my phone at night (which I use to read emails, etc. in the morning).
I hope you're able to keep things straight :)
