From the heart

Tonight was Read Across America Literacy night at the kids' school.  There was a book fair and many different reading activities to do.  The kids could make their own bookmark, a cat in the hat hat, or a poster from their favorite book.

K chose to go make a poster and H and T each made a poster too.  K chose to make a poster of Jesus dying on the cross with the words (spelled like a kindergartner) Jesus Loves Me on the bottom.  K then proceeded to show all his teachers his picture.  He was so excited and so proud of his poster he ran around them gym showing anyone who would look at it and listen to explain his drawing.  Such a witness from the heart of a 5 year old.  Bless his little heart.
