mama's boy

M is such a mama's boy.  More than the other boys ever were and they were mama's boys too!  He loves to have me to himself and he has a hard time sharing me with his siblings and even Papa.  He will usually sprawl all over me so he doesn't have to share my lap or any number of tricks to keep me all to himself.   So I wonder how he'll do while I'm gone for the weekend at my church's women's retreat.  I know he'll be fine and I know he'll miss me greatly but he'll have a blast while I'm away.  He'll probably even *cringe* forget all about me.  I can just picture his reaction when I come home on Sunday.  The hubby already has a plan in place to ease the transition of me coming back home and letting M get his mama fix out of the way so I can enjoy the rest of the family without fighting the attentions of a two year old  Those of you with 2 year old experience know what I'm talking about.

So I am packing tonight and M knows something is up.  He brings all his cars into our room and drives them around on the bed while I pack.  These extra moments with him were special.  Here are some pictures.  There are no sheets on the bed because they are being washed - just so ya' know.
